REVIEW

00 We were Fortunate Sons to have a band like The Garden Snakes (James Latham, Rob Watson, Ira Nonkin, Eden Viloria, Bob Mansfield and Gabe Asarian) take us down memory lane, or should I say Thunder Road, with such classic favorites as Walk Away Renee. They definitely Did Not Bring Us but Down, but they did bring the house down with the “pounding drums” and “rhythm” we craved in such hits as Radio Nowhere and She’s Not There.

45 The Pocket Protectors f/k/a Bob Elliott’s Workshop and consisting of Pat Hough, Howard Yager, Laurie Widder, Nancy Gerson, Peter Grosz, Mike Berman, Alan Schissel and of course Bob Elliott had a breakthrough debut performance. They Came Together to the crowd’s Satisfaction and gave us the type of rock and roll show that Dreams are made of.

30 Off The Chart shook things up by opening with a guest drummer: Caroline Purr and special appearances by Bret Michaels (aka Clif Eddens) and Jamil Odeh. Dom Pucciarelli, Lou Doganieri, Dave Caplan and Ed Howe Rocked The Jailhouse and took a big Piece Of Our Hearts with this rousing set of rock medleys and musical gems.

45 Matthew Tivy, Michael Burke, Bill Hall, Jason Hare and Tom Shepherd as Evil Prince Ludwig, The Indestructible has proven to be a truly indestructible vocal force. Their heavenly harmonies kept the crowd hanging on their every word with an impressive set of songs from an array of musical eras. They covered the 90s with the likes of Barenaked Ladies, the 80s with Duran Duran, the 70s with Steely Dan and Elton John.

30 The Uncommitted, certainly committed to bringing us a great show. Yaron Urbas, Rob Watson, Bob Mansfield, Ed Yutkowitz, Jen Bush and Bob Donigan brought us from The Summer of 69 to a Five O’Clock World in Red Hot fashion. From ballads to doo wop they covered it all and left us glad that it wasn’t Only Make Believe.

15 Risky Business f/k/a Rafael Carrasquillo’s Workshop totally transported us back to the 80s and with a Rebel Yell the crowd shouted for more! Joe Melillo, Tim Frost, Eugene Holley, Bill Hall, Monika Hudgins-Watanabe, Rafael Carrasquillo and Jonathan Weiswasser, De do do doed their way into the audience’s heart and left no one in the Middle of the Road about their killer musical talents. They might be called Risky Business, but I can safely say they’ll give you What You Need.
