The Musician’s Club at the Studio
The Studio is a networking organization that will help you get involved with music whether you’re just starting out, playing for years or looking for a good jamming situation. If you’re interested in playing music, regardless of your age, skill level or experience, we can help. We offer everything you need from Open Jams, To The Stage Workshops, Performance Nights, Classifieds (PDF format), Networking Database and more. Fill out our Application. No audition necessary. Come on down & we’ll get you started today.
THE STUDIO OPEN JAMS
Saturday night 7 – 11 pm (Eight rooms available)
Monday – Noon to 2pm (Beginner/Intermediate Classic Rock Jam only)
On Saturday evenings we have eight rooms available for jamming each with a style of music such as rock, blues, acoustic, funk, jazz, singers lounge, etc. at beginner, intermediate & advanced levels. Check out The Studio Newsletter for current jam information.
Jam Fees
- $20.00 Unlimited jams/members
- $20.00 1st time jammers
- $25.00 2nd/3rd jam
- $5.00 Monday afternoon jam
- 3-jam limit for Nonmembers
- Observers pay jam rate
- No discount for latecomers
- Prices/events subject to change without notice
Members must show ID card to jam at the member rate.
The Jams are held in professional rehearsal rooms equipped with drum kit, weighted keyboards, bass & guitar amps, mics & PA system. A Jam Coordinator is in each room. Songbooks covering over 1800 tunes with lyrics & chords are available in the beginner & intermediate rooms.
Guitars, bass & effects are available Free to members
Nonmembers pay $10 per jam for each rental
Everyone must leave ID when borrowing/renting equipment which may ONLY be used on premises. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Jamming Rules
- Coordinators are in charge of the room.
- Exercise volume control. DO NOT play on 10 if everyone else is on 6.
- Everyone gets a chance to play. Be prepared to rotate every 2 to 3 songs if someone who plays your instrument is waiting.
- Be respectful & aware. Sometimes playing with strangers takes patience.
- NO SMOKING on the premises.
